One of the club’s new recruits for the 2018-19 season, Spiranovic is a vastly-experienced and well-travelled central defender. Originally from Geelong in Victoria, he rose to prominence with German club FC Nurnberg before moving to Japan to join Urawa Red Diamonds. His next port of call was Qatar where he played for Al-Arabi and then in 2013, he returned to Australia to link up with the newly-formed Western Sydney Wanderers.
