21-year-old Brimmer joined Glory ahead of the current campaign having spent the previous three years at English Premier League giants Liverpool.
Born in Melbourne, he first rose to prominence with Nunawading City and also spent time in Football Federation Victoria’s NTC program before being spotted by Liverpool.
He duly signed a three-year deal with the Anfield club and became a key part of their Academy side.
At international level, meanwhile, the talented midfielder has represented Australia at Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 level and was a part of the Joeys squad at the 2015 Under-17 World Cup.
Brimmer is set to chalk up his 50th Hyundai A-League appearance for Glory in the 2019/20 season.
