Dino Djulbic

Defender
biography-icon Biography
Born in Doboj in the former Yugoslavia, Djulbic spent much of his youth in Germany before moving to WA where he joined Perth SC. An impressive subsequent spell with South Melbourne persuaded Glory to offer him a pro contract in 2007 and the uncompromising centre-back made 27 Hyundai A-League appearances over the course of the next two seasons. 2009 saw Djulbic complete a move to German outfit Rot Weiss Ahlen, but injury unfortunately ruined his spell there and he duly returned to Australia where he enjoyed a happier and more successful stint with Gold Coast United. After the Queensland club folded, Djulbic headed back overseas to ply his trade in China with Guizhou Renhe and in the UAE at Al_Wahda, before rejoining Glory in 2014. The 34-year-old added 58 more appearances to his tally for the WA club during three campaigns and after another interlude which saw him represent both Malaysian club Felda United and Melbourne Victory, he rejoined Glory for a third time in January 2018. At international level, meanwhile, the 1.94m defender won two caps for the Socceroos in 2012.
