C. Ikonomidis

Cronulla-born Ikonomidis moved to Italy as a 17-year-old to join Serie A side Atalanta and two years later, moved on to Lazio. During his time in Italy, he gained invaluable first-team experience through loan spells at Salernitana and Danish outfit AGF. The livewire forward also returned to Australia for a loan stint with Western Sydney Wanderers in 2017/18 and following that campaign, completed a permanent move home to link up with Glory. Ikonomidis made a huge impact during his debut season in purple, scoring nine goals as Glory claimed the Premiers' Plate and being named NAB Young Footballer of the Year. At international level, meanwhile, the 24-year-old has become a regular member of the Socceroos squad and was one of the team's standout performers at the 2019 Asian Cup.
