Midfielder
Biography
A product of Barcelona’s legendary La Masia academy, Andreu played in his hometown club’s ‘C’ and ‘B’ teams before moving on to Malaga ‘B’ in 2005.
A year later, he put pen to paper with Sporting Gijon whom he duly helped secure promotion back to La Liga where he featured alongside future Glory colleague, Diego Castro.
Following four campaigns with the Asturian side, the midfielder opted to move abroad for the first time, joining Polish club Polonia Warsaw.
He saw less game time during subsequent brief stints with Dinamo Tbilisi, Auckland City and Lechia Gdansk, before recapturing his best form when he returned to Spain to join Racing Santander in 2013.
He was similarly consistent during his previous foray into the Hyundai A-League, playing a pivotal role in driving Western Sydney Wanderers to the 2016 Grand Final.
The Catalan signed for Glory ahead of the 2017-18 season following a spell with Greek second-tier side, Aris Thessaloniki.
