Alex Grant

Born in Manchester, Grant was a part of the Portsmouth youth academy from 2010-2013 before moving on to Stoke City. While with the Potters, he enjoyed a successful and character-building loan spell at National League side Macclesfield Town during which he made 25 league appearances and scored two goals. The versatile defender was then signed by Glory in June 2015 and made 20 starts in what was an impressive debut season. He has subsequently chalked up over 60 appearances for the club, scoring two goals along the way. The 23-year-old also manages his brother's Sunday League team and is an avid Manchester United fan.
