Perth Glory-s Youth Team will look to soar over Newcastle Jets Youth in a curtain raiser to the Hyundai A-League clash between the two clubs on Friday night at EnergyAustralia Stadium.
The Glory has played some exciting football in the opening fortnight of the season however some unfortunate mistakes at crucial times have cost them competition points.
Several of the club-s youngsters are out of action with injury and local club commitments however recent signing Glen Trifiro will make his debut while the squad will also be bolstered by the inclusion of experienced striker Eugene Dadi.
The Frenchman has been training well but hasn-t been able to break into the senior line-up and needs match time to ensure he is ready for Hyundai A-League selection. A niggling injury sustained a fortnight ago meant Dadi was unable to play with the young side but will regain that match-sharpness with a solid hit-out this weekend.
Fellow senior listed players Scott Bulloch and Jimmy Downey are continuing their way back from injury and will play again with the youth side.
