Tickets to the highly anticipated Westfield FFA Cup Quarter Final clash between Perth Glory FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers will go on sale 9am Friday September 11.
Flying the flag for Western Australia, Perth Glory will go into battle against the Wanderers, at the home of WA NPL team Perth SC on Tuesday September 29.
Gates open at 5.30pm and the match is due to kick-off off at 6:30pm under the Dorrien Gardens lights.
With free entry to Perth Glory members who renewed their memberships prior to the July 15 same seat deadline, and with a limited venue capacity, the bout promises to deliver a packed and pulsating atmosphere with Perth locals standing shoulder to shoulder to take in the action up close.
It's also expected Dutch striker Guyon Fernandez and exciting new marquee, Diego Castro to feature for the first time in front of the Glory faithful.
Perth Glory FC Chief Executive Peter Filopoulos said the match was expected to be a sell-out.
“There is limited capacity at Dorrien Gardens so it will be a case of first in, best dressed” he said.
“But this will be an FFA Cup Quarter Final like no other. You have last year’s finalists up against the Asian Champions at a traditional community football venue that will deliver a raw and real atmosphere. The fans are going to love it and so are we!” he added.
Perth SC President and former Socceroo Captain Gary Marocchi, is predicting a big turnout on the night.
"We are extremely grateful to Perth Glory FC for the opportunity to host their FFA Cup Quarter Final against Western Sydney Wanderers. With the lighting upgrade of the main pitch completed, we now have the potential to host bigger games involving A-League clubs. We'd also like to thank our major sponsor TES Electrical for the professional job they have undertaken" he said.
Supporters are advised chairs will not be allowed into the venue on the night and there will not be any ATM access. Patrons should prepare in advance for this.
Owing to the limited capacity of the venue and for ease of access, Perth Glory is urging fans to pre-purchase tickets online.
Ticketmaster has removed the handling fee from online ticket transactions meaning there is no reason to delay and risk missing out.
