Three Glory games impacted by latest A-League fixture changes

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have today confirmed another raft of A-League fixture changes, with several Glory games affected.

Glory’s scheduled home clash with Melbourne Victory on Saturday 13 February has been postponed due to border restrictions, while new dates and kick-off times have been set for the club’s meetings with both Western United and Brisbane Roar at HBF Park.

The Western United game will now take place on Saturday 27 February at 6.20pm and Glory v Brisbane Roar is set for Tuesday 2 March, also with a 6.20pm kick-off time.

A new date has not yet confirmed for the postponed home game against Victory.

APL Commissioner, Greg O’Rourke, said that while the border situations remain uncertain, given that many of the interstate borders are now opening up to travellers from other states, the APL is working on a reset to the balance of the A-League and Westfield W-League season draws.

“Based on the information that we have now,” he said, “we hope that we will be able to publish a larger number of fixtures within the next two weeks which goes much deeper into the season than border restrictions have allowed in the last month.

“We know how difficult it has been for fans and other stakeholders to plan ahead in many areas of their lives with COVID-19 and we have been no different, however, our next fixture updates will be created with a view to provide a longer term schedule.”
