Thank you for your World’s Greatest Shave support!

The club would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our World’s Greatest Shave Fundraiser this year.

Midfielder Neil Kilkenny was among those who underwent the clippers in aid of the Leukaemia Foundation and our sponsors, which included the incredibly generous Rob Stone of Transtek Pty Ltd, raised a fantastic total of $7784.11.

This is the second year that Glory have participated in the World’s Greatest Shave having been originally inspired to do so by the remarkable bravery of young Hunter Madden (pictured above with mother Kate, father Dave and brother Zac) who continues to battle leukaemia.

Hunter, who celebrates his sixth birthday today, was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of three and is continuing his treatment after recently undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
