State Team clash next up for Glory

Thumbnail

Glory’s pre-season campaign will continue on Wednesday August 1st with a game against the WA State Team at Inglewood’s Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium (kick off at 7pm).

The traditional clash versus a select eleven drawn from the NPL and State League will be Glory’s fourth fixture in as many weeks, with comfortable victories over Perth SC and Gwelup Croatia followed by a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea at Optus Stadium.

Last year’s corresponding fixture ended in a 1-1 draw, Adam Taggart scoring Glory’s equaliser after Andres had given the State Team the lead at Forrestfield.

Highlights of that game can be seen HERE.

Admission on Wednesday evening will be FREE and due to the game being played on a designated FFA Cup Round of 32 fixture date, FFA restrictions unfortunately prevent us from providing live Twitter or Facebook coverage.

So make sure you get along and lend the lads your support if you can.
