The pre season clash will be the Glory-s second last hit-out before the season opener against North Queensland Fury on Friday, August 6 at nib Stadium (formerly ME Bank Stadium).

Here are the declarations of Coach Dave Mitchell just before the side flew to South Australia.

On Adelaide United:

“Yeah, they-ve done quite well in pre season. This will be a good test for us and we will be trying a few things out.”

The benefits of this match:

“A lot of players playing 90 minutes, a bit of shape and how we are going to line up.

“We-re getting closer and closer to the start of the season so we are also looking at certain players to play different roles.

“We-ll take what we can out of the game and look at a couple of set moves so there is a few things we-ll look at.”

The first game of the season:

“There are a couple of players we just want to monitor and get them on the park. Those players aren-t travelling but hopefully by kick-off they will be with us.”

Perth Glory-s final pre season clash will be the Call to Arms Cup against the WA State team on Wednesday, July 28 at E & D Litis Stadium, Mt Hawthorn. Kick off is at 7pm with proceeds going to the Cancer Council WA.
