The Easter Soccer School-s were recently attended by over 250 children across five venues in Perth and Bunbury to mark the most comprehensive holiday program undertaken by the coaches from Glory in the Community.

“We-ve been humbled by our recent experiences” said Community and Development Manager Callum Salmon. “The energy, enthusiasm, positivity and love for the game of football coming from each child was a joy to behold and just reminded my staff and I how fortunate we are to work for the Glory in the Community. We also felt that each player improved and developed a new skillset which is testament to the excellent attitudes on display.”

Not content to rest on his laurels, Callum and the Community team are committed to continuous improvement and delivering the best product available in the WA market.

“We-ve emailed all the attendees a feedback form to provide a platform for honest feedback that will allow my coaches and I the opportunity to ensure the value we are offering is second to none.”

Subiaco, Gosnells, Sorrento, Melville and Bunbury were the beneficiaries of the Glory Players and Coaching Staff.

“I-d like to extend a big thank you to each Member Federation, who are all members of our Club Link Personnel program, for continuing to support our club and provide excellent venues for the participants to play football” Salmon commented.

By having the full support of the Perth Glory Football department the programs get bigger and better, “We will make ourselves available as much as practically possible to assist with the Community Department”, commented Head Coach Alistair Edwards who is a champion of WA grassroots and youth development.

And it is only set to get busier for the staff at Perth Glory with the Community and Development team looking towards upcoming Glory Skills, Club Based Training, Let-s Play (Primary School clinics), the Soccer Schools in July and the new Professional Development Camp.
