Perth Glory is pleased to confirm that newly signed, Lithuanian striker Darvydas Sernas has just received all his necessary clearance papers and has been included in tonight’s squad against the Melbourne Victory at nib Stadium.

Perth Glory is pleased to confirm that newly signed, Lithuanian striker Darvydas Sernas has just received all his necessary clearance papers and has been included in tonight-s squad against the Melbourne Victory at nib Stadium.

The 29-year old, pacey international has been in Perth since last Friday after joining the Glory on loan for the rest of season from Turkish Süper Lig team Gaziantepspor. He has trained with the senior squad throughout the week as he continues to build up game sharpness and acclimatise to the heat.

The 180cm striker can play in a variety of attacking positions and is known for his direct style of play. Sernas will wear number 28 for the remainder of the 2013-14 Hyundai A-League Season.

In further good news for the Glory, exciting WA youngster Jack Clisby has passed a last-minute fitness test and has been added to the match day squad. Clisby has played the last nine games for Perth and offered outstanding defensive cover.
