School Holiday Fun at Perth Glory Soccer Schools
During the July School holidays for an investment of $150 per player your son or daughter aged between 6 – 12 will be able to participate in Perth Glory's Soccer Schools
After the huge success of our first Soccer Schools where we enjoyed record numbers Perth Glory FC are holding Soccer Schools at Subiaco AFC-s Rosalie Park and Sorrento FC-s Percy Doyle Reserve!
Lucas Benino loved the clinics, “I especially liked the skills and games. I made lots of friends and I won a Perth Glory t shirt for trying hard at all the skills! I would really love to do it again”
Thomas Ullrich agreed, “I liked meeting the Glory Players and Coaches as well as all the games and competitions. I also like my coach, Michael Garcia”
Club Link Personnel and SFC Development Officer Toby Levy commented, “We at Sorrento welcome the opportunity for our players to train in a professional and fun environment with WA-s A league team. I think it is a great way to spend your holidays, not only are the juniors having fun but they-re learning at the same time”
During the July School holidays for an investment of $150 per player your son or daughter aged between 6 - 12 will be able to participate in our Soccer Schools at the following venues
• Subiaco AFC-s Rosalie Park (11th - 12th July, 9am - 3pm)
• Sorrento FC-s Percy Doyle Reserve (18th - 19th July 2011, 9am - 3pm)
Callum Salmon (UEFA B Licence Coach) has designed Perth Glory-s Soccer Schools. The programme is a two day clinic designed to improve social, recreational and elite footballers, specially formulated for 6 - 12 year olds.
Held over two six hour days from 9am - 3pm, the program is fun, informative and gives young kids a chance to shine and show off their skills.
Participating in the Soccer Schools programmes will allow a range of techniques to be developed, as well as an introduction into 4 vs 4 small sided games derived from Perth Glory FC-s hugely successful initiative - Glorious Fourz.
Each day is structured to include first team player and coach visits as well as brief, informative talks about professional football and the benefits of a positive attitude and healthy living.
The players will be available for photographs, autographs and they will participate in games and exercises. Maximum interaction with the junior footballers is our goal!
Participants will receive a Perth Glory/Chicken Treat showbag of fun to take home.
• One general admission voucher for one of the first Perth Glory home games in 2011/12 (Tickets will be released when the season commences) • A Perth Glory FC Soccer Schools training shirt • PGFC Water bottle • PGFC Drawstring Backpack • PGFC certificate • Assorted Glory items
As Perth Glory personifies professionalism and knowledge of Football we have once again confirmed former internationals Adrian Webster and Michael Garcia as the head coaches for the Soccer Schools.
The opportunity to meet and greet Perth Glory players and coaches is an opportunity not to be missed so we encourage you to sign up and participate in the Soccer Schools.
Ian Ferguson, the Head Coach said, “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the junior footballers at the last Soccer Schools. There were some really good performances from the players and I wouldn-t be surprised if some footballers were invited into the Summer Development Programme”
