Perth Glory defender Jamie Coyne underwent scans today (Sunday) after injuring his left knee in the club-s season opener against Adelaide on Friday night.
Coyne was forced from the field in the 39th minute after bravely trying to play through the pain of an incident 10 minutes earlier when he fell awkwardly following a tough challenge.
No definitive diagnosis has been made on the severity of Coyne-s injury and results from the MRI will be available on Monday following assessment by club medical staff.
