Ex-Newcastle Jets captain Ruben Zadkovich joined Perth Glory FC after four seasons in the Hunter Valley.
The box-to-box midfielder is well known for his tackling ability and leadership in the middle of the park, which has earned him eight goals in 138 Hyundai A-League matches and three caps for the Socceroos. Although primarily recognised for his defensive ability, Zadkovich is also known for his fierce shots from long range which was exemplified in the 2014/15 season with a thunderbolt shot against Wellington Phoenix at nib Stadium.
The former QPR and Derby County man is battling a knee injury in season 15/16 but it’s hoped he will make a return to the pitch by mid-season.
