Hyundai A-League leaders, Perth Glory FC are on the verge of creating Australian football history as they prepare to head to South Australia in a bid to win the inaugural Westfield FFA Cup Final.

Perth Glory FC defied the odds, winning all its Cup matches, including a dramatic 4-2 extra-time quarter final win, over Hyundai A-League rivals Melbourne Victory.

Along the way star striker Andy Keogh and dead ball specialist Nebojsa Marinkovic scored five goals each.

Perth will face off against Adelaide United in the Cup final next Tuesday, December 16. While the Cup final won’t be held in Perth, WA football fans will have the chance to see the trophy this week.

The Perth “FFA Cup Roadshow” will kick off at Forrest Place on Tuesday, December 9 (tomorrow) between 12-1pm.

Honorary Cup custodian and City of Perth Lord Mayor, Lisa Scaffidi will launch the event along with club captain Michael Thwaite and head coach Kenny Lowe.

The City of Perth is a proud partner of Perth Glory FC and is already offering Perth Glory FC members and fans convenient and discounted parking on home match days. Discounted $5 parking is available to Perth Glory FC ticket holders, attending home games at the Newcastle Street and Royal Street Car Parks. For more information CLICK HERE

The FFA Cup will be taken to local schools and Westfield shopping centres across Perth this week, as the boys from the west, aim to grab the first piece of silverware for 2014/15.

Perth Glory Chief Executive Jason Brewer said the roadshow was an important part in making sure football fans not travelling to Adelaide, had the chance to take a close-up look of the trophy.

“This is about giving back to our loyal fans and supporters who’ve had to wait years for a chance for Perth Glory FC to bring back some silverware” he said.

“More importantly our home game this Friday night against the Newcastle Jets will be a chance for fans to really show their support and farewell the team before the boys fly out next week to contest the Cup” Brewer said.

Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi, Perth Glory FC coach Kenny Lowe and club captain Michael Thwaite will be available for interview at the FFA Cup Roadshow launch tomorrow at 12.15 pm.
