Perth Glory would like to offer their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr Eduardo Morgan after learning of his passing earlier today.

Mr Morgan had worked with the Glory for a number of years and was a close friend of the club. He was well liked by players and staff alike and could be seen at every home match and the majority of training sessions and press conferences.

Chief executive Jason Brewer paid tribute to Mr Morgan, whose love of football was infectious.

“On behalf of the club, players and officials, we would like to offer our heart-felt condolences to his family,” Brewer said.

Long-time friend and 990am International Football Show presenter, John O-Connell (pictured above), paid tribute to Mr Morgan.

“He was well known to the local football and Latin communities and I-m sure he will be sorely missed.”

“Eduardo-s contribution to the local football scene was immense.”

“He was at every Glory home match and training sessions, plus he did a lot of work with Football West. You could always see Eduardo at local football matches with his hat on backwards and using his small stool to sit on. He was always willing to help out and a lot of people would have taken a lot of joy from his photos.”
