Richard Marx is Perth Glory’s newest fan

Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Richard Marx is a Glory fan for life after being presented with a 20th anniversary home shirt during the Perth leg of his national tour.

Marx, who has recorded a swag of 80s and 90s hits was preparing for his first show at the Astor Threatre in Mount Lawley on Tuesday night when he decided to pop into training at Forrest Park, flanked by his two nephews Alex and Christian, who are huge round ball game fans and play for their local team in Miami.

The two budding stars joined Perth Soccer Club’s NPL U-14 team, as Perth Glory captain Richard Garcia looked on and passed some valuable tips and hints to the playing group.
