Retro Corner – Get with the programme!

Thumbnail

Glory’s match day programme has a long and proud history that dates right back to the club’s inaugural competitive game against UTS Olympic in October 1996 (as shown in the pic).

Nothing especially startling in that, you might think.

But you may be surprised to know that by no means every Hyundai A-League club currently produces a programme for each and every home game.

Some opt for a single, yearbook-style publication that is made available in the run-up to the new season and others don’t even bother doing that.

Happily for those of our members and fans who regard reading the programme as a key part of their match day ritual, Glory Days will be back with a bang once again in the 2017-18.

season.

And here’s where we’d like your feedback in terms of what you’ve enjoyed about the programme in seasons past and what you would and wouldn’t like to see included in it during the coming weeks and months.

More interviews? More Westfield W-League content? A social media feature?

Or maybe just more pictures of Brandon Wilson walking his new puppy (a French Bulldog called ‘Ivy’, in case you were wondering…)?

We’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas, so join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter.
