Chris Beath will take charge of this Saturday’s Round 21 Hyundai A-League match between Perth Glory FC and Wellington Phoenix at nib Stadium.
Beath is one of the Hyundai A-League’s most experienced referees and has officiated 100 A-League matches since making his debut in a pre-season fixture prior to the 2007/08 Hyundai A-League season.
He was added to the FIFA International Referees list in 2011 and officiated at the 2015 Asian Cup in Australia in January.
He is one of two Australian referees selected to officiate two J-League matches in Japan between 27 April and 3 May.
The Round 21 match will be Beath’s eighth A-League game this season and will be his first involving Glory, although Beath officiated the first Westfield FFA Cup Final in December 2014, which Glory lost 1-0 to Adelaide United.
In the seven matches Beath has officiated this season, he has issued 31 yellow cards and one red card and awarded one penalty.
Perth Glory take on Wellington Phoenix at nib Stadium tomorrow night.
