Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Liam Reddy has re-signed with the club for a further two years.

The vastly-experienced goalkeeper has been a virtual ever-present for Glory since arriving in the West in 2016, chalking up 75 Hyundai A-League appearances to take his career total past the 270-mark.

Reddy’s fine form this term has seen him keep eight clean sheets and he is thrilled to have committed his future to a club that he feels is moving very much in the right direction.

“I’m very happy to have re-signed,” he said, “and I’m determined to win some silverware with Glory.

“The club has a very bright future and it’ll be great to be a part of that.

“The decision was made easy by our fantastic members and fans who are so great to play in front of.”

Glory Football Director Jacob Burns acknowledged the role that Reddy plays within the squad, as well as his impressive on-field displays this term.

“Liam brings tremendous experience and leadership to the playing group,” he said, “and is enjoying an outstanding season.

“He has worked really hard under the guidance of Goalkeeping Coach Danny Milosevic to adapt to the new structure and the way we want to play.

“We look forward to him helping us push for success this season and beyond.”

Glory CEO Tony Pignata, meanwhile, was quick to highlight the shot-stopper’s strong winning mentality.

“Liam sets a great example with his professionalism on and off the field,” he said.

“His ambition to achieve and sustain success mirrors that of ours as a club and he will continue to be an important figure for Glory moving forward.”
