A record home crowd of more than 18,000 fans is forecast for Saturday night’s massive match against Adelaide United at nib Stadium.

With a Perth Glory win guaranteeing the club a spot in the Finals Series, the game is attracting unprecedented interest. It will also be Perth Glory-s first game in the new, fully redeveloped nib Stadium.

To celebrate the wonderful occasion, Perth Glory in conjunction with Football West have also distributed 10,000 complimentary tickets to 67 junior clubs.

“This is a special thank you to the Football family,” Perth Glory Deputy Chairman Lui Giuliani said.

“With a win needed to secure our finals spot, we want a this to be a special event.

“And what a great way to celebrate with a packed house and a record crowd.”

Perth Glory-s biggest ‘home- crowd during the regular season of the Hyundai A-League is 16,019, for Robbie Fowler-s first game in August 2010.

That number was eclipsed back in the NSL when 18,067 watched Perth Glory host South Melbourne in 1998.
