Playing at right full back, Pearson showed maturity beyond his years with his performance receiving rave reviews on Fox Sports FC.

Ryan is the second player to make his debut in 2010/11 after Howard Fondyke came on as a substitute late in week 2 against Melbourne Victory.

Pearson and Fondyke follow Scott Neville, Andrija Jukic, and Anthony Skorich as players who have all made the transition from Gareth Naven-s youth team.

Pearson played for Lynwood, Fremantle and Armadale before his signed for Perth Glory Youth.
