Dates for our Talent ID Sessions for our 2022 Pre-Academy are now set .
Players born in 2011 are eligible to register as per the session schedule below.
Designed to fit between the Glory Development Centre (GDC) and the National Premier League (NPL) pathway, the program is for players born in 2011 who are selected via the club’s talent identification sessions.
It will be delivered by a group of highly-accredited coaches who have been specially selected for their expertise in working with players from this age group.
The key focus of the Pre-Academy program is the technical development of the players and improving their mentality and game understanding as part of easing their transition into playing 11-a-side football on a full-sized pitch.
Players enrolled in the program will remain with their existing clubs, with the Pre-Academy sessions designed to supplement rather than replace their club training.
From January until September, Pre-Academy players will attend two sessions per week and participate in a three-day camp during January in which they will have access to Perth Glory’s elite football facilities and senior coaching staff.
They will also receive two full sets of training kit, plus a full Perth Glory Junior Silver Membership for the 2021/22 A-League Season.
To be eligible for selection, boys must have been born in 2011 and are required to register HERE prior to attending.

Players can attend either of the sessions 1 or 2 listed below, but we encourage attendance at both sessions to ensure a full assessment.
All sessions will be held at St John’s Wood Playing Fields, 68, Stephenson Avenue, Mount Claremont WA 6010.
Players must arrive 15 minutes prior to the listed start time.
Session 1 – Tuesday 14th September – 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Session 2 – Wednesday 15th September – 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Successful applicants from the above 2 sessions will be invited to the following 3rd session, for a final assessment.
Session 3 – Friday 17th September – 5:00pm – 6.30pm (by invitation only)
Please note that as there are no Football West NPL junior female competitions being held, we are unable to accommodate any places for girls’ participation at this time.
