The Glory has welcomed back several key players including Ludovic Boi and Steve Hesketh who missed last week-s opening round due the local club commitments while Hyundai A-League listed players Scott Bulloch and Jimmy Downey will receive game time on their recovery from injury.
It will be Downey-s first match of the season after a leg injury sustained late in pre-season. The speedster has made steady progress and will be hoping to regain his touch and blistering pace as he pushes his case for a recall to the senior team in the next few weeks.
Brazilian Amaral will be one to watch for Perth as the midfielder gets much needed match time into his legs before linking up with the senior team a few days later.
In an added boost to the profile of the Glory Youth, WA based supporters will be able to follow all the action with live match commentary of each away game on 990am – 6RPH Information Radio. Experienced football broadcaster Ashley Morrison will call the game and be joined by special guests at each match.
