Top of the League! Grab your ticket to Glory and turn nib Stadium into a cauldron of noise as the Week 2 ladder leaders return home to face the Jets…

…Something has to give as Glory and Jets look to blemish each other-s unbeaten start to the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season at nib Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Glory go into the game on a high after last week saw them win in Melbourne for the first time ever at the eighth time of asking. Having played a massive role in ensuring his side were top of the ladder after two games, Perth Glory goalkeeper Tando Velaphi will be looking for a second consecutive clean sheet on what is set to be his 50th Hyundai A-League appearance.

Back on home soil and buoyed by their cracking win in Victoria, Glory will certainly fancy their chances against Jets, having not lost at home since 1st November 2009, when they went down 2-1 to last week-s opponents, Melbourne Victory. With four different Glory players contributing their five strikes so far in the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season, Jet-s defenders will have plenty to worry about, and surely it-s only a matter of time before Robbie Fowler sends the Glory fans crazy with his first goal for the club.

Recent history favours Glory too. Last season they defeated Jets in all three meetings without conceding a goal, the last of which being a 4-0 thrashing in Perth on Boxing Day.

Jets though, won-t be making the long journey west simply to lie down for Glory, and will go into the game full of confidence based on their start to the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season.

After gaining a hard-earned draw with a clean sheet in Adelaide, they were unlucky not to take all three points against Melbourne Heart in front of their typically passionate home support last week. Having built some solid foundations over the first two games, they-ll be focused on keeping their unbeaten run going when they travel to Perth this weekend. Warm up your vocal chords and get down to nib Stadium on Saturday for what will undoubtedly be a full-blooded encounter.
