Perth Glory players and new club Mascot ‘Spike’ will be joining in the excitement of the Olympics at BHP Billiton’s live sites across the metro area this weekend.

Perth Glory players and new club Mascot ‘Spike- will be joining in the excitement of the Olympics at BHP Billiton-s live sites across the metro area this weekend.

Glory players will be at Calista Oval in Kwinana on Saturday signing autographs and joining in the great atmosphere of the Olympic live sites.

The Olympic live sites aim to bring the fun and excitement of the Olympic Games into the heart of Perth and surrounding areas by televising the broadcast on large outdoor screens accompanied by a range of interactive and roving entertainment.

Everyone is welcome to join the Olympic celebrations which start with the Opening Ceremony on Friday 8 August through until the conclusion of the games on Sunday 24 August.

You can meet you favourite Glory players at Calista Oval in Kwinana on Saturday 9 August between 10.00am and 12.00pm.

Perth Glory and BHP Billiton Iron Ore are proud partners in the ‘Glory in the Pilbara- project which has seen Glory players visit the Pilbara region and assist in the development of grassroots football while also encouraging participation and education towards active and healthy lifestyles.
