Perth Glory Chief Executive Paul Kelly has confirmed the club has entered negotiations, to bring David Beckham and LA Galaxy to Perth in November for an international friendly.
“Perth Glory has had a couple of conversations with LA Galaxy and we have verbally confirmed that we want them here,” Kelly said.
“It’s now a subject of the finances associated with staging the game, so there is a lot of work to do.
“We do have some concerns with ticket prices to make the match viable, given that the match will start at a minimum of $50 per ticket for an adult.”
The match has to be organised and decided inside two weeks – PK will endeavour to get them here but he does not want it to be a distraction from what is the most important job of getting on with the season ahead.
