Perth Glory Chairman and Owner Mr Tony Sage has made the following comment on the FFA-s decision to issue Gold Coast United FC Pty Ltd with a notice of termination following material breaches of the Club Participation Agreement that governs the conduct of all clubs in the Hyundai A-League.

“It-s extremely disappointing it has come to this,” Mr Sage said.

“Clive, although controversial, has invested more than 18 million dollars into the game and that should be recognised.

“We, Perth Glory, hope that for the integrity of the competition, 10 teams remain in the Hyundai A-League next season.

“I trust the FFA have considered all options”
