Perth Glory in Bunbury

Perth Glory will again take Hyundai A-League action to regional Western Australia with a match against Gold Coast United in Bunbury on Saturday.

The match will form a crucial part of the club-s preparations ahead of the regular season which kicks off in two and a half weeks.

Star Serbian striker Branko Jelic will get another opportunity to work alongside his new Glory team mates as will Socceroos defender Chris Coyne and Socceroos attacker Mile Sterjovski. Young speedster Jimmy Downey is also eyeing a return to the pitch after missing the club-s past two matches with a leg injury.

Coyne, who has only been back in Western Australia for a fortnight, is looking forward to heading to Bunbury and has fond memories of holidaying in the region.

“I have a few friends who live in the area that I grew up with playing football and my wife-s Aunty and Uncle are there as well,” Coyne said.

“It is always a nice place to go down to and I-m looking forward to enjoying their hospitality and also getting the chance to show people what Perth Glory is about,” he said.
