Good people of Perth, the Perth Glory faithful the WA football family, here is your chance to BE PART OF IT and show your West Aussie pride by helping us to design Perth Glory-s 3rd Kit for Season 2013/14.
We want see a strip that will be symbolic of the pride of Western Australian Football and people – The People’s Kit!
On Saturday March 15th, Perth Glory FC v Melbourne Victory will be the “People-s Game”, an event celebrating the many great people who make and have made football great in this state!
A large and very important part of the tribute will be acknowledging the contribution and importance of the fans and providing them the opportunity for meaningful input on the make up of the day. Together with Football West we want to engage WA local clubs, juniors, mums, dads, kids, sponsors, coaches, medico’s, volunteers, and past greats to all come and BE PART OF IT!
Together, “WE ARE FOOTBALL” and we hope this fixture can become an annual event and one that we, Football West and Melbourne Victory FC can build upon.
With your input, suggestions and ideas together we can all make this event bigger and better each year and create a legacy!
We will be playing the big “V” in Melbourne and are inviting you to help design a strip that will be symbolic of the pride of Western Australian Football and people.
We want a fan designed strip with meaning, purpose and passion!
THE DESIGN
We do have certain mandatories as part of the design criteria and these are as follows. The design must contain:
(1) The traditional WA state colours of Gold and Black
(2) A crest, collectors badge or signification of the season or year of the strip
With the design mandatories in mind we want the fans to design a full Kit – that is the Jersey top, shorts and socks. There will be a requirement for A-League and Club logos and sponsors to be included on the kit.
Please also feel free to send us your suggestions and ideas in relation to the event and the match day experience! All suggestions welcome, great ones rewarded!
We hope that next season we can take the peoples kit on the road as we travel away together to enemy territory in support of our club fans and our state!
