Following Saturday’s vital Hyundai A-League victory over the Mariners, our NPL WA sides took centre-stage on Sunday and produced an eight-star performance!

Every single one of our teams from the Under-12s through to the first team were victorious and between the eight of them, they rattled in a whopping total of 42 goals while conceding just seven.

The Under-18s and Under-20s downed Joondalup United 10-0 and 7-1 respectively, while the Under-13s also bagged seven in their clash with Quinns at Riverlinks Park.

The first-team, meanwhile, came from a goal down to beat Joondalup United 4-1 with Daniel Stynes, Joe Knowles, Yacoub Mustafa and Jake Brimmer all on target.

The result means that John Gibson’s men remain unbeaten so far this season and a re now riding high in second spot on the ladder.

Sunday also saw the club stream an NPL WA game on Facebook Live for the first time ever, with more than 7000 people enjoying the broadcast.

Next on the agenda for our Under-18s, Under-20s and first team is an away clash with Forrestfield United on Saturday.

The Under-18s will get the action underway at the splendidly-entitled Wildlife Safari Stadium at 3pm, with the Under-20s following at 5pm and the first-team game set to kick off for 7pm.

With our A-League side having no game next weekend, we’d love to see as many of our members and fans getting along to give the youngsters their support.
