Young star Scott Neville says Perth Glory will bounce back and be “as strong as ever” following Sunday-s heart-breaking loss to Brisbane.

Here are the post match comments from both change rooms.

Perth Glory coach Dave Mitchell:

“It’s disappointing to lose it late; it was a tremendous effort and a great game that swung from end to end.

“It was a tremendous effort from the boys and in the last 10 minutes we created a couple of chances.

“It must have been a great game to watch because it was end to end and two teams committed to playing football, creating chances and trying to win the game.

“We were unlucky just to get a bad ricochet and the ball bounced in for them. I just couldn-t believe it rolled in.”

Perth Glory defender Scott Neville:

“Obviously to lose in the last minute, to lose any game you’re down and you’re dejected but we will pick ourselves up and be as strong as ever.

“It’s always nice to score goals but more importantly it’s better to keep ’em out, so that’s something we’ve got to work on.”

Brisbane Roar coach Ange Postecoglou:

“The boys left it late and were killing me, but I thought we deserved it and had enough opportunities to kill the game off earlier, particularly in the second half.

“From our point of view it was just a matter of getting that second goal. We left it late, but on the balance of the game I would say that we deserved the three points.

“The fact we can throw people on in the last half hour who are quality, it’s not just throwing on substitutes for the sake of it, I think makes a difference.

“Mitch (Nichols) was fantastic last week and he was great again today.”
