Young star Scott Neville will return from suspension for tomorrow’s massive clash against Hyundai A-League leaders Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium.
The 21 year old will be a welcomed addition to the squad with central defenders Andy Todd injured, Brent Griffiths suspended and Jamie Harnwell also struggling with a calf problem.
While Harnwell will need to pass a fitness test tomorrow, Todd did not make the trip to the east coast but the club is confident the former English Premier league star will ready to play at the next home game.
“We’re hoping it’s between seven and 10 days,” Ferguson said when asked how long it would take Todd to recover from this latest problem in a season that’s already seen him have prior knee and hip issues.
“We’re hoping it will be okay for him to come back (against the Mariners) and we’ve got a 14 day break.
The Glory’s match against the Roar is the second of three games on the road this week with Perth to face North Queensland Fury in Townsville on Sunday.
