Milestone Man

Liam Reddy’s has been a remarkable career.

Spanning 18 years and 10 different clubs in three different countries, it has seen the man from Sutherland establish and, perhaps even more impressively, maintain his position as one of Australia’s very best ‘keepers.

This Saturday, the 36-year-old will make his 250th Hyundai A-League appearance against a club he served for three seasons, Brisbane Roar, in what is, of course, a must-win game for Glory if they are to keep their finals hopes alive.

And given his super-competitive nature and natural leadership qualities, Reddy is sure to be at the forefront as Kenny Lowe’s men do their utmost to get the job done at nib Stadium.

But rather than us heap more plaudits upon the proud family man universally know as ‘Rocket’, how about we see what he had to say regarding his latest milestone when he fronted the media earlier this week?
