Chris Ikonomidis v Adelaide

Attacker Chris Ikonomidis is recovering well from shoulder surgery having withdrawn for the Socceroos squad in order to undergo the operation.

Fellow-forward Daniel Stynes has parted company with the club and joined NPL Victoria outfit, Bentleigh Greens.

Jacob Italiano, meanwhile, is set to fly to Germany in the middle of next week to link up with his new Borussia Monchengladbach teammates.

And young midfielder Henry Hore added to his growing show-reel of spectacular goals with a stunning strike against Inglewood United in last weekend’s NPL clash at E&D Litis Stadium.

Focus on Floreat

2019 NPL - Glory v Inglewood - Nick Walsh

The PGFC Academy First Team face another high-stakes, top-of-the-table NPL clash on Saturday when Floreat Athena will provide the opposition at E&D Litis Stadium.

Richard Garcia’s men reclaimed second spot after downing Inglewood last time out, while Floreat are third with an identical points record for the season, but an inferior goal difference.

Kick off for the First Team is at 3pm and ahead of that game, the third-placed Under-18s are in action at 11am and the table-topping Under-20s at 1pm.

Do get along and lend the lads your support if you can.
