The dust may have settled on what was an historic Hyundai A-League season for Glory, but there is still plenty going on in and around the club.

Here’s your weekly update:

Fond Farewell

Fabio Ferreira headshot v Chelsea

Fabio Ferreira and Walter Scott have both parted company with the club, as has Brendon Santalab who has retired from A-League football.

Jacob Italiano is also poised to depart as he begins the next stage of his football career with leading Bundesliga side, Borussia Monchengladbach.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish Fabio, Walter, Brendon and Jacob all the very best for the future and thank them for the contribution they made to Glory.

Sam in super form ahead of World Cup

Sam Kerr with the Matildas - shouting

Glory’s Westfield W-League skipper Sam Kerr has enjoyed the perfect preparation for next month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Let the NPL be your football fix!

2019 NPL - Bayswater City v Glory - aerial clash

There’s no need to wait until Manchester United roll into town to get your next fix of Glory action.

The NPL WA season is in full swing and the PGFC Academy teams are acquitting themselves extremely well once again.

The First Team and Under-18s are currently third on their respective ladders, while the Under-20s are leading the way in theirs having won eight and drawn two of their 10 games thus far.

All three teams return to action this Saturday (June 1) when Inglewood United will provide the opposition at E&D Litis Stadium.

The Under-18s get things underway at 11am, with the Under-20s starting at 1pm, followed by the First Team at 3pm.

It’s a great chance to see the club’s future stars in action, so do get along and lend the lads your support if you can.
