Perth Glory are on track to break their record membership figures set last year, with fans still able to lock in a club membership ahead of the first home game, a Friday night blockbuster against reigning Hyundai A-League champions Newcastle on the 22nd of August.

Perth Glory are on track to break their record membership figures set last year, with fans still able to lock in a club membership ahead of the first home game, a Friday night blockbuster against reigning Hyundai A-League champions Newcastle on the 22nd of August.

The club has experienced a terrific response from renewing members and have been pleased to welcome many new supporters who are excited about Perth-s prospects this season.

“Dave Mitchell has assembled an exciting squad and there is a real buzz amongst football fans in WA about this season,” said Perth Glory Chief Executive Officer Scott Gooch.

“We-re delighted that fans have shown their commitment to the club by becoming members.

“At the heart of every club is a strong membership base and we-re proud to have so many loyal members on board and welcome others to join with us as we make this our best Hyundai A-League season yet,” said Mr Gooch.

Perth Glory members receive exclusive benefits including the best seats in the house plus a new initiative for this season will see a dedicated members bar in the Gareth Naven room, the perfect place to prepare for the big game ahead.

Members will also be able to see the future of Glory playing in the inaugural National Youth League competition as curtain raisers on five occasions over the season.

Junior members will also be out in force at Glory games joining new club mascot Spike ‘The Glory Kid-. Spike made a pre-season debut at members Equity Stadium much to the joy of the clubs junior fans and will be a significant addition to Perth-s match day experience throughout the season.

“I cant wait to get out and meet all the junior supporters and hope heaps of kids can come along and join in the fun,” said Spike.

With just over a week before the clubs first home game Mr Gooch is confident Glory can break their membership record of 5777 set last year.

“This week has seen a hive of activity in our membership department as the season quickly approaches and with a huge game to kick off the home campaign we expect to see plenty more members joining,” said Mr Gooch.
