Malaysian connection goes from strength to strength

The Glory gospel was again being spread in Malaysia last week as, in association with 1MCC, the club conducted a series of coaching clinics in Kuala Lumpur.

Run by Glory coaches Michael Garcia and Ross Millard and Tour Manager Tony Hughes, five clinics took place as part of our Community Development program in Asia, featuring Under 12s, U14s, U17s and Invictus academy sessions. The final day of the program involved practical and classroom sessions run by Glory for Malaysian coaches currently working at every level of football, from grassroots to the top tier in the country.

Perth Glory, in association with Laptops For Learning, were also proud to have presented three laptops to 1MCC.

The technology is to enable coaches working in remote and disadvantaged communities, without internet access, to teach football skills. The laptops include over 100 progressive football skill film-grabs on the hard drive.

Watch this space for more news and details of our exciting and evolving association with 1MCC.
