Perth Glory coach Kenny Lowe has hailed Liam Reddy’s character following the veteran goalkeeper’s heroics in Tuesday night’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Melbourne City.
Reddy saved two Bruno Fornaroli penalties amid the chaos at AAMI Park to help a plucky Perth snatch their first point in three matches.
“The most wonderful thing I can say about Liam is he’s an absolute top guy,” Lowe told Fox Sports.

“He’s not just good on the pitch. He’s actually really good in our changing rooms, our training environment.
“He’s got a winner’s mentality and he brings that with him.
“The likes of (Andy) Keogh and people like that combined with Liam, it’s a pleasure to work with to be truthful.”
Lowe attributed the match’s incredible drama – which included six goals, two red cards and three penalties in total – to both teams’ desperation for three points.
“I think that was the culmination of that desire – people threw caution to the wind,” he said.
“From a coaching viewpoint there are plenty of things to look at and discuss and work on.
“One thing I will say about our guys is the attitude and the togetherness was fantastic.”
