Healthway has proudly committed its continued support as the major sponsor of the Perth Glory Women’s team in the Westfield W-League for the next two seasons.

The LiveLighter brand which supported the men’s team previously, will be the new health message to adorn both the front of the Women’s home and away jerseys as well as featuring on training and coaching apparel, media backdrops, prominent game day signage and match day activation.

A key feature of the sponsorship will be the use of Perth Glory Women players as LiveLighter ambassadors, to promote the LiveLighter health message around good nutrition, improved healthy eating and increased physical activity.

The partnership represents a significant part of Perth Glory’s commitment to the growth and development of Women’s Football, said Perth Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos.

“Healthway has been a tremendous supporter of women’s football and the Perth Glory Women and we are delighted to see that continue. More girls are now playing football than Netball which is incredible and we want our club to be a strong, positive and healthy role model for young women and to help continue to fuel that growth.”

Healthway’s Acting Executive Director Maree De Lacey said the LiveLighter message encourages West Australians to be healthier by being physically active and making healthy choices about food and drinks.

“Healthway is pleased to be working with Perth Glory Women’s team to promote healthy role models, encourage other young women into sport and promote the principles of the LiveLighter health message.

“It’s a win-win for both health and sport and we are delighted to be involved.”

Meantime Australian self-storage company National Storage has extended its club sponsorship to Perth Glory Women for the next two Westfield W-League seasons.

National Storage embarked on a two year sponsorship deal with the club in 2015 and from this year their logo will feature as the back of shirt sponsor for Perth Glory Women’s home and away jerseys for the W-League season.

The club’s fitness partner Goodlife Health Clubs, has also renewed its association with Perth Glory for the next two years, enabling both the men’s and women’s teams to access all gyms nationally for the next two years.

Goodlife’s logo will also appear on the Women’s team match day and training shorts and across a host of club branding and match day signage.

Both Perth Glory teams will be in action this weekend when they host the Western Sydney Wanderers at nib Stadium in an exciting double header.

The men kick-off their match at 4pm and will be aiming for their third win of the season, while the Perth Glory Women kick-off at 6.40pm in what will be their first match of the 16/17 campaign with a host of new internationals, featuring Americans Nikki Stanton, Alyssa Mautz last year’s MGP Vanessa DiBernardo, Mexican Arianna Romero and Perth born captain Samantha Kerr, who will all be on show.
