Perth Glory-s next home game on Sunday December 6 at ME Bank Stadium, will serve as the inaugural “Football in WA” match. The celebrations will kick off with a legends game that will see past Perth Glory players take on past WA State League players.
The aim of the fixture is to acknowledge and celebrate Football in WA and the rich history of Perth Glory. The “Football in WA” match will continue to be an event that the club celebrates each year.
See Glory Legends Bobby Despotovski, Jason Petkovic, Gareth Naven, Scott Miller and many more take on some of WA-s best state players.
The legends game will be a curtain raiser to Perth Glory-s big clash against the Brisbane Roar which will kick off at 4pm.
As part of our festival of football celebrations, the coaches and captains from State League minor premiership winners Western Knights and championship winners Perth SC will be welcomed onto the pitch at half time along with the Westfield W-League Perth Glory Women-s team.
