Charlie has played nearly ALL of his Junior Football with the Granville RAGE Football Club and his passion for Football shines through with his MAD support of the Western Sydney Wanderers and Socceroos.
Charlie is a very talented Young Footballer whom had dreams of playing at the highest level in Football one day.
These dream to play Soccer for Australia & at the highest level are in serious doubt as Charlie Fights the battle of his short life.
It was just over 2 weeks ago Charlie attended the trials @ Granville Rage Football Club looking to secure his spot in the youth league side for 2014.
Charlie was making his return to Granville Rage after playing for both Marconi & Mountie Wanderers youth League squads in 2013.
It was his love for great game of Football that led to Charlie discovering he had been struck down with a very rare form of Cancer, whilst attending the 2014 Granville Rage Youth League trials.
In Fact Charlie is the ONLY teenager to be suffering from this rare form of Cancer in the Country.
Charlie was selected to play for Granville Rage for the 2014 season.
This news has devastated his Mum & Little Sis Lil along with the many people Charlie has touched throughout his short but talented Football career.
His mum Cathy and little sister Lil are near his side 24 hours a day as they watch in despair as their son and brother fights for his young short Life.
Charlie, his sister Lil & Mum Cath lost their Father & Husband around 3 years ago to cancer.
Cath being on a single income and having to quit her job the day Charlie was diagnosed with Cancer, the family is in desperate need of your help.
Charlies Footballing family have set up the “Kick in for Charlie” benefit. We are calling on everyone to help out and DONATE to Charlie & His family in this time of dire need.
