After scoring 9 goals in 16 appearances for the Young Socceroos, including an absolute screamer in the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup against host nation Turkey, Jamie Maclaren left the prestigious Blackburn Rovers academy to join Perth Glory FC.
Maclaren managed 18 appearances in his debut season in Australia, scoring the winner in his home debut against Melbourne Heart in Round 3 and an impressive volley against eventual champions Central Coast Mariners. Up to round five this season Maclaren has booted three Hyundai A-League goals.
