Perth Glory is delighted to announce that it has agreed a partnership with Hyundai for the game against Manchester United in Perth.

The logo of the global automotive giant will feature on the front of Glory’s shirt for the prestige clash with the English Premier League side at Optus Stadium on Saturday 13 July 2019.

Club CEO Tony Pignata is thrilled that Hyundai are on board for a game that will be viewed by tens of millions of fans around the world.

“It is fitting that as we face one global powerhouse in Manchester United, our famous purple shirt will bear the logo of another in the form of Hyundai,” he said.

“Hyundai have, of course, sponsored the A-League since its inception in 2005 and their track record for supporting football in this country and around the world is unparalleled.

“We are extremely pleased to be partnering with them for what promises to be an unforgettable sporting occasion at Optus Stadium.”

Hyundai Motor Company Australia CEO JW Lee echoed those sentiments.

“We are a huge fan of football and it felt right that we get behind Glory as they represent the Hyundai A-League against one of the biggest football clubs in the world,” he said.

“These types of games show how far the game has come in Australia.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to show what our Aussie league is made of and with so many fans tuning in to watch from all over the world, we’re really excited to be involved and show our support.”

The match kicks off at 7pm (AWST) and will be broadcast on Channel 7 Two in Australia, as well as on MUTV around the world.
