The temperature is just about to rise on and off the pitch because the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League Summer Football Festival is here!
It’s a festival that the whole family can enjoy because children go free to A-League and W-League matches and, of course, they’ll be able to enjoy our hugely-popular Go For 2&5 Kids’ Zone at nib Stadium.
25 days of football fun in the sun kick off on 21st December and Glory CEO Peter Filopoulos is confident that the initiative will prove a big hit with parents and kids alike.
“Summer is about family and what better way to spend a family evening than by celebrating the summer of football at nib Stadium and Dorrien Gardens supporting both our A-League and W-League teams?” he said.
“I think it’s a fantastic initiative and I’m sure families here in WA will really embrace it.”
Those sentiments were echoed by FFA CEO David Gallop.
“Over the holidays most parents are wondering what they can do with their kids that is fun and affordable. The answer is to take them to see the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League.
“It’s a unique experience in Australian sport and for those going for the first time, it might just be the start of a lifelong passion.”
Glory’s home games during the Summer Football Festival include a potentially decisive W-League clash with title rivals and current ladder leaders Brisbane Roar and A-League showdowns with our old rivals Adelaide United and big-spending Melbourne City.
