“It-s an indication of how seriously Perth Glory is treating the NPL as a development pathway for our young players.” Glory CEO Jason Brewer commented

“One of our key objectives from participating in the NPL WA was to provide the opportunity for our Foxtel National Youth League squad to play in an all year round program. I-m sure our local footballing community and teams we compete against will welcome the chance to see Glory-s developing players play at their local venues over the next 6 months.”

“Nearly everyone of these players has played in the A-League this season and I hope that their inclusion in the NPL will assist in raising the profile of the local football in WA”. Brewer added

In addition, the Club has received clearance for its A-League players that have been on the Long Term Injury List to play in up to five NPL matches for Perth Glory as part of their rehabilitation and return to match fitness.
