Glory unveil bold new look

Thumbnail

‘Bold’.
Adjective.
Definition: having a strong, vivid, or clear appearance.

Bold was the key element in the design brief that Macron and the club worked on when producing this season’s new kit.

And that element is clearly reflected in the finished article which was officially launched today.

The white sleeves and horizontal, two-tone purple stripes give the home strip an eye-catching, contemporary and innovative look that will hopefully inspire players, members and fans alike.

The away kit, meanwhile, also contains the tonal stripes subtly worked in to a classic, predominantly white colourway.

And Macron Australia’s Managing Director, David King, is very proud of what Kenny Lowe’s side will be sporting during the 2017-18 Hyundai A-League season.

“The aim was to create something for the Glory supporters that was new and exciting,” he said

“Rolling back the successful tone-on-tone style of our first ever home jersey was one of the key elements to this year’s kit.

“Glory’s members and fans have always been strong supporters of our brand and we wanted to deliver them a jersey that is fitting of their loyalty to us and the club.

“A lot of time has gone into the making of the kit from both Perth Glory and the Macron team, with a special mention to our Key Account Manager James McKensie and Perth Glory’s Merchandise Manager, Lucy Sage.

“I am personally very excited to present this year’s kit and believe that it is our best yet!”

Home and away kits in all sizes (adult and junior) are available NOW and can be purchased online at www.shop.perthglory.com.au or from our Team Store at 203, Underwood Avenue, Floreat.
